SKAGERAK EXHIBITS AS PART OF DANISH LIVING ROOM
Skagerak is represented at the upcoming design week in Milan at the joint stand Danish Living Room, which presents Danish furniture brands at the fairground in Rho. ’Milan’s annual furniture week is the key global design event, so of course we are keen to be part of that,’ says Skagerak’s CEO, Jesper Panduro. ‘It is always interesting to step outside one’s comfort zone and enter a new context, and we are excited at the prospect of introducing our furniture to an international audience.’
At the Milan fair, Skagerak presents Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm’s Georg collection, which combines Nordic minimalism with a sensuous grasp of textures. Another exhibit is the new, versatile café series Flux by Jonas Herman Pedersen, which can be used indoors and out and is perfect for small balconies, atrium yards and kitchen-dining rooms. Flux is joined on stage by the design studio VE2’s simple and functional porcelain series Nordic, which has recently been expanded with new pieces. Skagerak also presents the iconic Riviera sunbed, which has its 25th anniversary this year.
