NEW PRODUCTS AND DESIGNERS IN OUR ACCESSORIES COLLECTION
September marks the start of a new season, and we are looking forward to showing you the many new designs. Our accessories collection has been expanded with several strong new products by great designers, among them Mette Schelde and VE2 as well as designers who are new to Skagerak, including Swedish Anton Björsing, Danish Søren Refsgaard and the Danish duo Halstrøm | Odgaard.
The Halstrøm | Odgaard duo is furniture designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm and textile artist Margrethe Odgaard, who have created several products for us this season. One is the wool blanket Iota, which plays with the notion of the gap as a space for form-giving and new patterns. Mette Schelde, whom we have known since her graduation as an architect, designed the cutting and serving board Soft Board, which is charming in its friendly appearance but never forgets its functional practicality. Our design director, Ditte Buus Nielsen, designed our new paper towel holder Norr, which is the essence of modern Scandinavian functionalism, and Thomas Brido Petersen created the candle holder Segments with modules that you can combine as you like.
Anton Björsing is another of our new designers, who is currently working on several other Skagerak designs. Drop, the organic candlestick in ash that resembles a drop captured on its way to the tabletop, comes in several colours and can be combined to form a cluster. VE2 expanded the Nordic series with a teapot and serving tray and added a letter tray and a pen holder to the Nomad series, while Søren Refsgaard created a modern Notice Board that you can use anywhere in the home. In addition, there are all the minor changes, including new qualities and colours in the Dania series and the decorative ornaments Spruce, and there is the new ornament Cone, designed by Ditte Buus Nielsen.
Below is a selection of the accessories mentioned here, complete with product information and download links, but do get in touch if you need additional information.
All the best, Vibeke and Jesper Panduro
