Kula is the name of the coolest and most environment friendly gift wrap. It is also the name of a really good idea, which not only saves the environment, but a product which will make a difference for both the buyer and the receiver. Kula was founded by Cathrine and Cecilie Stöger Nachman in 2015 and the origin of the idea arose because of the 800 tons of giftwrapping that is landfilled after christmas in Denmark alone. Cathrine and Cecilie care, and they created the most beautiful giftwrap, that can be recycled and used again and again.
"The name kula is derived from a cultural phenomenon in Papua New Guinea, where special treasures are passed from person to person, the temporary ownership of the objects endowing power and prestige upon its current owner before being passed on to the next recipient." I think it is a beautiful thought, and I will for sure pass Kula on to my dear ones.
