Way up north in Denmark lies Svinkløv Seaside Hotel. The hotel was drawn by architect Einer Packnesss i 1925, and is approaching 100 years of memories and good company. I think that people was drawn to the hotel because of the remote beautiful location and the peace, that they didn't have at home. The morning ocean dip, homemade cooking, fresh fish in the yellow dining room and cookies and tea in the purple room after supper. Games and conversation with new friends. Soul luxury back then and definitely now.
Time stands still, when you stay at this little hotel. It is a place where rare peace occurs, because of bad mobil coverage, no wifi and no television in the rooms. And the food and the hostmanship is world class. The young new hosts Louise and Kenneth are living the dream as hotel tenants. They really make an effort, and we can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the years to come.
Svinkløv Seaside Hotel is definitely worth a trip. We love it.
